About PLV
Promotoras Las Vegas (PLV) is a community health worker platform built to empower promotoras — trusted, trained community health workers — to serve families across the Las Vegas valley. Our platform helps promotoras coordinate outreach events, track health screenings, manage client referrals, and stay connected with the administrative team that supports them.
We serve community members who face barriers to healthcare access, including language barriers, lack of insurance, and limited transportation. Promotoras act as cultural bridges, meeting people where they are — at barbershops, community centers, and local events.
PLV runs several key programs including Barbershop Outreach, Mujeres Fuertes, Soda-Free Summer, Move Your Way, and Faithful Families.

Who We Serve

This platform is built and maintained by the PLV administrative team, led by Maria Solano, Executive Director, and Rosa Garcia, Founder & Preventive Health Coordinator. Our goal is to give every promotora the digital tools they need to do their vital work effectively.
